Controls

SMARTrack is a versatile 48V system that allows design for many applications. The Bluetooth wireless and 0-10V bus wire controls allows for individual or grouping control of lights.

In the area of retail display and environment design, it is important to catch the eye of the customer. You often only have one chance.

Dynamic Lighting through Individual Control

You don’t want to just “illuminate” the space. You want to draw the customer to the product or display creating an interaction to entice them to buy. A Dynamic lighting approach lets you change a scene with every display or product refresh. It will accentuate the products with:

1. Color quality using increased Gamut or Natural Sun spectrum LED products
2. Intensified light at different time of the day
3. Create color tuning changes based on product color or ambient light effects
4. iBeacon technology which engages the customer though interaction and promotions right to their phone

Dynamic Lighting makes the customer note the accentuated products and promoted attention and awareness like a highlighted item on a menu. The result is a
consumption promoting ambiance ultimately increasing sales.

Nordic Aluminium’s solution is a track system using:

1. Optional control wire for 0-10v dimming protocol for an economical solution for entire track dimming as well as individual fixture control using DALI control software.
2. Optimal control with several great design features are obtained with Bluetooth direct control using a SMART adapter with integrated power supply or 48V LED smart module products like the XICATO XIM that can use a dumb adapter.

SMART partners and smart board design services:

An empty Smart adapter with board and radio chamber is also available allowing manufacturers to develop their own products using their own control software and radios. Nordic Aluminium has many great partner vendors that can help with designing the right control board for you that will fit in the blank smart adapters. Additional control companies can be used with additional board designs.

We offer quality fixtures with sleek design. You can use a simple integrated control for iOS offered by Nordic Aluminium called C2Me™ (Connect2Me). We also offer a standard 4 button wall switch that can be programmed from the app for ease of operation by the occupants. C2Me can be used with your fixture design by simply ordering the SMARTrack smart adapter to attach to your fixture. A QR code on the adapter will automatically recognize the fixture in the app and its ready to be controlled from up to 150m.

1. On/Off
2. Dimming- including dim-to-warm
3. Grouping
4. Timer

SMARTrack

  1. Suspension Hardware Rail
    Provides fastening point for suspension hardware, also serves as an attachment point for the unique, load-bearing metal backplate featured on eco feeds and connectors, ensuring a secure connection.
  2. Milled Grounding Bar
    Provides continuous ground contact for fixtures anywhere along the track run.
  3. Alignment Groove
    Provides easy centering for screws.
  1. Bus Bar Installation
    Conductor and insulation assembly is crimped continuously into place along the track profile, and is guaranteed not to slip for the life of the product, regardless of whether or not the track has been field cut
  2. Extruded Channel
    Constructed of strong, extruded aluminum. Impervious to corrosion.
  3. Predrilled Mounting Holes
    For installation convenience. Tracks ship from the factory with predrilled mounting holes spaced per UL and NEC guidelines.
